from 290 reviewsSuper watch. I was looking for a dive watch which wouldn’t break the bank so I could feel comfortable hitting the beach and swimming without worry. Very reasonably priced considering what you get in terms of quality and even an additional strap.
Favourite aspects- dial, hands, both straps, ceramic bezel, micro adjustment, proper water proofness.
Lease favourite- The thickness took a little getting used to as chunkier than my other watches.
It has been my summer go to.
Before I purchased the Ocean Adventure in Pacific orange I contacted Monro and had a very helpful response within an hour. This provided me with the confidence to make the purchase. The order was placed before midday, dispatched on the same day and delivered in less than twenty-four hours, which is outstanding service!
On opening the package I was presently surprised, firstly by the dive-log box and the personalised thank you card which are very nice touches. Though the only downside for me was on opening the box the protective foam inside looks quite cheap and was crushed. This could be where the watch had moved around in transit, on first glance it looked like the watched had been previously handled/used, but this was not the case as it was fully wrapped in protective film and unmarked.
After unwrapping everything the watch has a superb look, there are nice little finishing details and it feels well balanced too for sub three hundred pounds diver. The crown unscrews nicely, hands are easy to adjust and the bezel rotates very smoothly too with a nice reassuring click. The movement is as what you would expect from Seiko, but should be reliable and cheap enough to service.
The watch definitely outclasses a lot of divers for twice or even three times this price point, to be honest I am unsure how Monro can manufacturers an automatic diver at this price! Literally, only time will tell whether the build quality will last but it certainly looks and feels the part. Anyone looking for well finished diver under four-hundred GBP I can definitely recommend the Ocean Adventure. Thank you again Monro for your great service and attention to detail, from a happy customer.

This has rapidly become a favourite. The bronze case and bezel look fabulous from the outside but I did not expect the coppery light that tints the pale ethereal dial reflected from the inside of the case.
From the photographs I also hadn't appreciated the subtle domed glass that gives the watch a maritime vibe with echoes of a porthole or a binnacle. This is complemented by the blue and white bezel, rich like French enamel, while the white ring, hands and number markers all having a generous amount of lume that lasts all night.
A proper thick leather strap is extremely comfortable and a generous length while the warm chestnut brown perfectly compliments the bronze.
It was a bargain but I love this watch. I'm wearing it now, I may never take it off
Fantastic watch
This is incomparably good value. I'm absolutely delighted with it.
Nice dial . Adventurine stone wirks well with space team . Watch us well made .
Wow! What a fantastic watch! Very pleased with the finish, fit and performance. I have brought watches in the past that cost substantially more money; from double to ten-fold, and the MoA5 matches their specifications for a lot less money
Great looking watch. I have orange diver from Monro and had been looking at bronze diver, definitely picked right one. Comfortable to wear, extra strap and Great lume. Excellent value for money.
Love the blue planet agate watch, especially the rubber strap. Wish I also had it in green. Only complaint is that there should be a little more lume on the hour hand. With just a dot of lume on the hour hand, it’s hard to tell the time at a glance in the dark.
Wow
Great comms prior to ordering.
Was nervous to order but I shouldn't have been. What a watch ,stylish, fabulous quality, adaptable and keeps perfect time. To be honest I have lots of other watches but they are on the way out and looking at my next Monro.
Well done guys keep up the great work.
Fantastic! The dial is stunning. The Miyota 9039 movement is perfect for this piece, and the lume is simply mesmerizing. Overall I am extremely pleased with how these came out. Very hard not to grab this out of the winder every day…..been wearing it a lot since I got it.
Absolutely love the urban range have all 3 configurations great price amazing service
This is probably the best watch I have bought in a long time. The Musou Black dial is genuinely unbelievable and is undoubtedly the standout feature of the watch.
The finishing on the hands is exceptional. The polished surfaces remind me of the black polishing you would expect to see on a Grand Seiko. Against the Musou Black background, the hands can almost completely disappear, leaving only the lume plots visible and seemingly floating above the dial. It creates an incredible effect and makes the watch fascinating to look at.
As with the Planet Pearl, the thin aventurine ring is extremely subtle and barely noticeable most of the time. On this watch, however, it doesn’t bother me at all. The Musou Black is so striking that your attention is simply drawn into the dial.
The stainless-steel bracelet is also very well made. The tolerances between the links are excellent, it is adjusted using screw pins as you would expect, and the micro-adjustment mechanism feels strong and secure.
I was particularly impressed by the inclusion of two half-links. It may seem like a small detail, but it is something many major manufacturers overlook, and it makes achieving the perfect fit considerably easier. Well done to Monro for including them.
Together with my Planet Pearl, I now have two very different watch heads that can be worn with three different options: the white EPDM rubber strap, the glow-in-the-dark strap and the stainless-steel bracelet. This gives me plenty of variety between the two watches.
All in all, I’m ecstatic with this watch. The dial is extraordinary, the finishing is exquisite, the bracelet is excellent and the attention to detail is genuinely impressive. It has exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be happier with it.
I absolutely love this watch. It’s beautifully made, very well finished and the dial is simply exquisite. It’s one of those watches that looks good in photographs but is even better when you actually have it in your hands and see it on the wrist.
It wears extremely well and I love the simplicity of the design. There’s nothing unnecessary or overdone about it; it just feels clean, distinctive and very well thought out.
If I had to find fault, I think the strap is perhaps a little thin for the watch, although it is still comfortable to wear. The thin line of aventurine is also much more subtle than I expected and is barely noticeable most of the time. I would have liked that detail to stand out a little more.
The Lumicore is fantastic, and the free glow-in-the-dark strap was a great addition and a bit of fun. I also really like the screw-down crown. It works perfectly and is a nice practical touch that adds to the overall feeling of quality.
Despite those couple of minor points, I genuinely love the watch. It’s beautifully finished, comfortable, unusual without being flashy, and the more I wear it, the more I appreciate it. Definitely one I’m very pleased to have bought.
